I have recently purchased a new desk from Ikea for a bargain price of £15. A few weeks ago I bought  a New iMac for my uni work and I didn't have a suitable place to put it other than a table downstairs, but it was very frustrating not having it in my room and having to go up and down the stairs to use it and get my things.
So I thought that I would finally buy myself one to fit in my room as my room is quite large and was looking bare.
On my desk, there are a variety of things from my computer to my printer to uni books to items that make my desk look pretty. 
Candles: Asda £2 each
Golden Skull: Asda £5, Yankee Candle in Holiday Magic, Asda, £1, Frame: Homemade
