Christmas

Christmas is only 41 days away!
If you're stuck for ideas on how to add a little more Christmas touch to your decorations and you're feeling creative, what better way than to make these adorable Lavender Hearts.
These are what I created last year.
This is how I made them:
-Chose a fabric of your liking
-Cut to around 20cm by 20cm
-Double the fabric up so once you cut the shape out you'll have two.
-Chose a shape that you like whether it is a Heart or Christmas Tree and draw this on paper and cut it out.
-Place the template on the fabric on draw around it.
- Cut around the shap leaving a 1.5cm gap around the edges.
-Using a straight foot; carefully sew around the shape. Again, leaving a 1.5cm gap from the thread to the edge. Also leaving a 3cm gap so you can fill the shape.
-Cut carefully around the shape and using a pencil, turn the fabric inside out so the stitching is hiding. Using the pencil to get all the curves/lines out.
-Using stuffing and lavender fill the shape.
-Hand stitch the gap so it is fully closed.
-Get some coloured ribbon and fold in half to create a loop then carefully hand stitch.
