Here it is! The first preview of my collection HAUS. I'm so excited for the Final Exhibition where my friends and family can finally see all my work together.
I will upload a picture of all my garments together and what I have planned for my layout.
I'm so happy with the final outcome and especially the photoshoot. My models were gorgeous and the garments looked beautiful on them.

Recently I have had a lot of stuff to do in final preparations for my exhibition. With it only being three days away I still have a lot of work to do.
Luckily all of garments are now complete and have been for around a week so that is the main thing out of the way. All I need to do now is finish pressing them and ensure that there are no loose bits of thread.
Last Friday was a big part of preparing for my exhibition as I had my final photoshoot with some gorgeous models (my friends) wearing my garments which I hope to blow up and have them up at my exhibition.
Look out for the photos in about 10 minutes as I am super happy with them and I really hope you like them!
Apologies
Sorry that I haven't been blogging a lot recently, I've been really busy making the final preparations on my garments for my final major project!!
I now have only 8 days left to complete all my work!!!
So scary how these past two years in my Fashion class are coming to an end but I am excited to see what great opportunities arise in the next few years when I leave to go and study Fashion Journalism.
UPDATE
As you know, my theme is Pop Art meets the 21st Century (I.e transforming Pop Art by using Pastel Colours) and I am creating a range of garments by using Screen Prints and Embroidery.
I have chosen three main designs to print with that link in with the theme and I will be printing them on:
3 Jackets
3 Tops
3 Skirts
3 Dresses
Each will be like a little collection so for example,
1 Dress, 1 Top/Skirt & 1 Jacket will all have the same design on etc...
I have also created a screen design for my bags which I will display and sell at the exhibition.
Being inspired by Pop Art & the 1960's, as part of my project I will be making a Paper Dress (Inspired by Andy Warhol's Souper Dress) but it will be in the style of Paco Rabanne's Chain Mail Dress)
Display
For my display, I will be setting it up as if it were a little shop. I will have my logo HAUS displayed on wood blocks, hanging from the ceiling and all my 9 garments and the paper dress will be displayed for the viewers to see.
I will upload pictures of before and after pictures to show the transformation of the space I have have given.
I am so excited to finally be able to show off my work!
Tonight, I am preparing all of my blocks to be made into my final pieces.
I have already completed two of my final dresses and I have just started sewing and printing my top and skirt garments.
This image shows the process of preparing for my jacket garment.
Think the award for the messiest/creased block definitely goes to me!
I only have little over 2 months left to the complete my FMP.
I'm so happy with the progress that I have made and how my ideas have came to life.
These images are of my toiles that I have made.
The left image shows my cropped tee and high waisted flared skirt toiles and the image on the right shows my edge to edge jacket toile over my final dress piece.
My jacket toile does have a lot of pins on the edges due to me having the change the width of it as the patter couldn't be seen underneath so I have pinned it to where I want it to be.
My next stage is to alter all changes onto my blocks ready for my final pieces to be made.
I then decided to make my first dress out of my white scuba fabric.
Overall, I am really happy with how both dresses turned out.
Here they are together...
Today I have been doing a lot of prep for my FMP.
I started doing my sample dress, I used black scuba fabric, which is exactly the same as my main fabric, except I want to do it in white.
I then tried my POPART print in pastel colours to link in with my theme.
This is the outcome... Hope you like it!
